HAPPY FACES FROM HAPPY PEOPLE

Last Sunday, we had our Grand Fellowship where we invited believers from other places to be with us. We had a list of the people who attended the gathering.

I really believe that God is working. Most of them had accepted Christ. We had our Cebuano Song, some are translated from English and some are composed. Right now, they can sing all cebuano songs for God instead of singing what the world sings. I know that God will work in their lives in the next few years. I really appreciate the people who are spending their time teaching little children. More on this soon.......

DECISION, DECISION and DECISION

Few weeks ago, me and my friend talked about Philippine Economy then we started comparing it to other countries. He said, there is no good things here in Philippines. He wants to go abroad to study then get wealth and go back to Philippines to make changes. That's nice, I told him. I asked why he want to study abroad and work there. "There is no progress here in Philippines", he said. I told him that there are Filipinos who has great potentials and they can make progress, I think. He started talking about the Phil. Government. He said, the Gov't in Phil. cannot help those people. I really don't know about the latest news about here in Philippines but I have in my mind that anybody can make progress by working in a right way and in a right place.

How is this related to the title of my post?
Well, I am talking about progress. I asked myself, am I progressing? Sometimes, I start my day doing things; reading news (sometimes), reading articles about web designing/building websites. I have a plan to take short term course related to web designing/programming perhaps. As of now, I am getting informations from Internet, trying to follow steps they are giving.

Yesterday, someone encouraged me to apply to a Costumer Relation Company. I know I have the skill even though I don't have any degrees but I am proud of what I've got. This thing bothers me until now. Am I in a right place? Am I doing the right job? I can't forget what the Bible says about this, He is doing all things work together for good. I never regret being here because I know, for some situations, this will build my character. I think, no matter where you are but how you shine as light of the world.

Still, I have a plan to take short term course somehow. As of now, working for a couple of months/saving enough money for the course and get it, is my idea. I am getting some tutorials from the internet, this really helps me, but I want to learn/meet other experienced people about the course.

I was thinking about the news I have read a week ago. Sometimes I used to think not to accept much responsibility because I know much will be demanded from me.

PROPOSED YOUTH CAMP

We will be having a Youth Camp/Seminar this coming December. Some of us had started some youth group bible studies and most of them are college students. We have our permission slip asking their parents to let their sons/daughters participate the youth camp.

Topics are as follows:

• Self-Acceptance
• Maintaining Good Friendship
• Sumission to Authority

We are praying that God let this event a helpful thing on their lives. That this will open their eyes and see the new lifestyle different from the world's lifestyle, new perspective from the world's perspective.
